Easy puppy, it is after all, just a concept. But that being said, it continues the direction the company has been going for the past 3 years and given how amazing the Q50 looks these days, I approve! But it’s clearly not just about looks, but about the tech, power and features.
At the top of the list is the concept’s hybrid 450hp 3.0L twin turbocharged V6 and100hp electric motor to deliver great fuel economy and extra power when you need it. There’s also a 9-speed automatic transmission, and an intelligent drive system that can switch between rear- and all-wheel drive as needed. Head-up displays (yes) for both (yes!) the driver and passenger keep important info a glance away, suicide doors in the rear make for easy entry and exit (love!), and a wide, long, curvy design provides plenty of sex appeal.
But wait, this is about the future! An autonomous drive system that employs cameras, lasers, and sensors keeps the car driving without your input, and is available at the push of a button, making rush hour traffic no more than a minor inconvenience. Well, provided they become legal.
