Gazelle extends iPhone trade-in prices until September 9th, just in time for iPhone 6 | 9to5Mac

If you’re in the market for a last-gen device or are ready to trade in yours for the latest and greatest, Target, Staples and Gazelle have you covered for the upcoming release of Apple’s newest products.

Target has revived its $199 iPad mini sale. It’s available both online at Target.com and at Target retail locations. That’s even $30 less than the retail price of top Android tablets Nexus 7 or Kindle HDX. Separately, Staples is offering all WiFi-enabled iPad Airs (Space Gray or Silver) for $30 off). Coupon code 79449 drops them another $100 yielding $369/$469/$569 on 16/32/64GB Wifi models. So there’s your way to cash in on the next release by purchasing current equipment. How about a trade up?

Electronics trade-in site Gazelle has today announced that it will lock trade-in prices for iPhones between now and September 9th for 50 days. This means that iPhone owners looking to upgrade can get a quote today, but not let go of their device until the new iPhone arrives, keeping the original quoted price.  Gazelle predicts that trade-in prices for iPhone 5s to fall up to 25% in the month following the expected iPhone 6 announcement.

Gazelle is also running another promotion in tandem, temporarily raising prices offered for iPhone 5s. Gazelle will now offer up to $350 for an iPhone 5s in perfect condition. Obviously, arranging an iPhone trade-in sooner rather than later will ensure you get the highest price for your devices. Start making plans, if your an Apple person that is.
