If the prospect of the Mercedes Benz S65 AMG I posted earlier in the week was too heavy on class and not sporty enough, Aston Martin apparently has your answer.
Pictured above is Aston Martin’s fastest production convertible ever: the new V12 Vantage S Roadster. How fast and strong, you ask? With a 565hp 12-cylinder engine and a top speed of 201mph, the convertible can rocket to 60 mph in just 3.9 seconds. Its 6.0-liter pack all that power and torque from as low as 1,000 rpm.
Along with the upgraded engine, the Roadster has three-stage adaptive damping (Normal, Sport & Track), carbon ceramic brake discs all round and ZF Servotronic power assisted steering. It gets the same cosmetic revisions as the coupe, such as the bespoke front grille trimmed in carbon fiber with black or titanium silver mesh, pronounced bonnet louvres and available graphics package. The interior is upgraded with new trims, with available carbon fiber lightweight seats.
I don’t have a clue what it will cost, but you can be sure the penny will be as pretty as the car.
