Take that multi-touch! Fix and lock in what works for YOU regardless of updates - xda-developers

If you haven’t ever or don’t currently own a Google Nexus 7 (2013) tablet, this post is certainly lost on you, but for what its worth to those who do, I’m posting it. If you’ve ever wondered what the deal was with your touch-screen or the multi-touch capabilities, or even if you’ve seen screen lags or other issues, guess what? You’re not alone! But apparently the brains at XDA put a fix out ages ago that the common user might not know about. Whether you’re running the stock (out of the box) system or some custom ROM, there’s a way to load some medicine for your device in the form of a ts-boot. In layman’s terms, it’s got a number of setting that will do away with any lag, screen glitches etc.

Apparently Asus and Google have management to keep this one fairly quiet. I’m also hearing that the few who’ve installed the latest Android L developer preview have found the previous issues are also gone. Shame on you guys, but glad there’s a fix out there. P.S. – I tried it myself and it cooled down my screen noticeably. Have a read and if you’re handy with a command line, try it for yourself.
