Google to release wearables SDK | Android Central

It’s go-time people. In just two weeks time, Google will release their software development kit (SDK) for wearables. What’s it mean, what’s it mean!?

Today at South x Southwest (SXSW) Google announced it would be releasing the SDK shortly. This could mean better support for OEMs that want to use Android on wearables, but it’s just as likely that they’re ready to unleash their own smartphone and want developers to fully embrace it. Heck, this could just be a stage in the 4.4.2 upgrade for Google Glass we’ve been hearing about with the distinct absence of monthly upgrades to Glass XE since December. Your watch it ticking…pun very much intended.
