If you observe life through the lens of Herschel Supply Company, it’s going to be a classically colorful spring in 2014. Founded by brothers Jamie and Lyndon Cormack, Herschel Supply Co. adopted the name of the small town where their great grandparents homesteaded and three generations of their family grew up. From large backpacks, bags, wallets, travel goods to accessories their idea is to bring practical yet functional products to the market with a fine regard for detail.
Its Spring/Summer 2014 collection is inspired by sailing and life at sea. Incorporating traditional materials such as water- and tear-resistant sailcloth, the Studio Collection features four different bags, a laptop sleeve, dopp kit, and field pouch as well as a wallet, case and exclusively-designed lunch pack. The collection’s themes are readily seen in the choice of white bases accented by zigzag stitching and patches of deep blue, red and teal.
If it’s anything like previous releases, expect the line to run from $20 for tiny pieces to $150 for bags and backpacks. Enjoy!
