It would be easily speculated that I posted this simply because it’s a Hublot, but the truth is that this is a spectacular timepiece. One of their Haute Horlogerie pieces, it’s a black polished ceramic at 45mm bearing titanium screws and composite resin lugs. It’s got sapphire front and back and is water resistant to 30 meters.
The movement is Swiss of course – a manual-wind in-house caliber 6011 with 19 jewels, 21,600 vph and a whopping 120 hours of power reserve. Not without its luxury, the dial is black lacquered with indices set with baguette diamonds and polished rhodium-plated hands. Shiny black calfskin sewn onto black rubber and a black PVD steel deployment buckle keeps it where it belongs: on your wrist.
Price is TBD. Only 30 pieces will be made. Covet away!
